Summer is filled with small moments that stay with us: an outdoor dinner, a conversation that lingers into dusk, or a quiet evening beneath the stars. Inspired by these moments, Yoru was created—a portable light designed by Rubén Saldaña that combines thoughtful design, functionality, and a warm glow capable of transforming any space.

Its name comes from the Japanese word yoru, meaning “night,” reflecting the essence of a lamp designed to accompany the most intimate and welcoming moments of the summer season.

What makes Yoru special?

Yoru is designed to deliver a versatile and comfortable lighting experience. With a 2700K color temperature, it emits a warm, inviting glow that creates relaxed and intimate atmospheres.

The lamp also features three dimmable brightness levels, allowing the light to adapt effortlessly to different moments:

  • Low brightness for quiet moments of relaxation.
  • Medium brightness for conversations and casual gatherings.
  • High brightness for outdoor dining and other shared activities.

This versatility makes Yoru an ideal lighting solution for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Portable design for any setting

Versatility is at the heart of Yoru’s design. Its portable form allows it to be easily carried wherever a warm, inviting source of light is needed, bringing comfort and character to terraces, gardens, balconies, living rooms, and bedrooms.

Available in six different finishes, Yoru blends effortlessly into a wide range of interior styles, from contemporary spaces to warmer, more organic environments.

Yoru has received international recognition with prestigious awards including the Red Dot Design Award: Best of the Best, the iF Product Design Award, the New York Product Design Award Gold Winner and the Best of the Year Honoree.
