The Buddy family, designed by Rubén Saldaña, continues to expand its capabilities to meet the needs of increasingly diverse projects. Recognized for combining a compact size, high efficiency, and excellent light quality, the collection now includes new solutions that further enhance its versatility: Buddy L, Buddy L Wall Washer, and Buddy Surface.
Buddy L: more size, more light output
This new size significantly increases the available light output within the Buddy family.
With up to 2,120 lumens and an efficacy of close to 200 lm/W, Buddy L delivers greater lighting capacity without compromising the efficiency that defines the series. This new version expands its range of applications to larger spaces or projects with higher lighting requirements.
In addition, the entire range maintains an IP54 rating, including the adjustable Tilt version, ensuring a high level of protection against dust and water splashes.
Buddy L is also available with Tunable White technology, allowing the colour temperature to be dynamically adjusted to adapt the lighting to people, activities, and the time of day.
The luminaire can be configured within two ranges: 1800K–4000K and 2700K–5000K.
Buddy L Wall Washer: uniform vertical lighting
The family also includes Buddy L Wall Washer, the wall-washing version in this new size.
Designed to provide uniform vertical illumination, it ensures a continuous distribution of light, without interruptions or variations in intensity across the illuminated surface.
These features make it particularly well suited to retail, hospitality, and residential projects where the uniform perception of walls, displays, or architectural elements is essential.
Buddy Surface: all the benefits of Buddy, now in a surface version
The collection is completed with Buddy Surface, the family’s new surface-mounted downlight.
Its compact design and reduced size allow it to be installed on all types of materials, offering a versatile solution when recessed installation is not possible or desirable.
Buddy Surface retains the performance features that have made the collection a benchmark in architectural lighting.
