MIKSI

MIKSI was created in response to a growing need: spaces that combine professional productivity with high-quality coffee. With a carefully considered layout, the journey begins with a takeaway coffee area, which leads into a specialized espresso bar and another dedicated solely to filtered coffee, then transitions into the work area. The space is designed with a focus on flexibility and versatility, offering everything from individual workstations to collaborative zones, private offices, phone booths, fixed desks, meeting rooms, lounges, and an interior patio that connects to the outside to maximize natural ventilation — ideal for the mild Valencian climate and its seamless integration with the indoor environment.

Concept and Design

The concept of traceability is a core pillar of this project. Inspired by the principles of specialty coffee — where product traceability is essential — this idea is extended to the architectural design and daily operations of the space. Every component, from the materials used to the process of selecting local suppliers, follows a principle of transparency and quality. Just like the coffee served, every element within MIKSI has a story — from the choice of industrial materials to the implementation of technological solutions to enhance user experience.

Versatility and Community Connection

MIKSI adapts to the community’s needs through its versatility. The space accommodates a variety of uses, including social events, workshops, pop-ups, and coffee tastings — offering a platform for activities that promote cultural and social exchange.
