Arkoslight collects the Red Dot Best of the Best Award at the Essen ceremony

Arkoslight received the Red Dot Best of the Best Award awarded to the Yoru lamp, designed by Rubén Saldaña, product director, during the Red Dot Product Design Award 2022 ceremony.

The gala was held on June 20 at the Aalto Theatre in Essen (Germany). During the awards ceremony, Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, handed the trophy and certificate to Israel Vázquez, managing director, and Rubén Saldaña who attended the event on behalf of the company.

Yoru thus becomes one of the most influential designs of this last year for its Best of the Best mention. This special title is awarded to a sole product in each category for its innovative design and excellence.

After three years, the Red Dot Gala could be held again and brought together more than 1,200 creatives from 40 different countries for the grand finale. The ceremony culminated in a party that brought together firms and professionals working to change the world through design. After the gala, guests visited the Red Dot Design Museum where the award-winning products are displayed in three exhibitions “Milestones in Contemporary Design”, “Design on Stage” and, finally, “A life of design. Designing for life”.
