Sustainability Arkoslight
We are “Carbon Neutral” - We are “Carbon Neutral” -

In 2025, Arkoslight achieved carbon neutrality after calculating, reducing and offsetting all of its direct and indirect emissions (Scopes 1 and 2), corresponding to the years 2021–2024.

The neutral CO₂ balance was obtained following voluntary registration and subsequent validation by the Carbon Footprint Registry, Compensation and Absorption Projects of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO).

Arkoslight currently holds the “Calculo, Reduzco y Compenso” seal awarded by this ministry.

EcoVadis Bronze Medal

Arkoslight currently holds the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, a global sustainability assessment platform that evaluates the environmental, social and ethical performance of companies of all sizes, and one of the most widely used rating systems in global supply chains.

According to the platform’s own reports, “in 2021, only 3% of companies assessed for the first time achieved an advanced-level rating”, which is the case for Arkoslight.

Commitment and continuous improvement

  • Sustainability Committee

  • Sustainable supply chain

  • Innovation and eco-design

  • Training

  • Photovoltaic

Arkoslight’s strategic plan is built on pillars such as decarbonisation, the definition of high quality standards, social responsibility and good governance. As a cornerstone of this plan, we created the Sustainability Committee to carry out leadership, strategy, supervision, monitoring and advisory functions related to sustainability and ESG within the company.

From the engineering of each product to the procurement process, a sustainable purchasing policy and a supplier code of conduct have been established, defining the principles that guide purchasing decisions towards sustainable development.

The guiding principle “more light and a lower carbon footprint” has led us in recent years towards an eco-design policy, prioritising a higher lumen-per-watt ratio and reduced use of raw materials in each product. This is achieved through specific software that calculates maximum efficiency from the minimum physical structure in each design.

At Arkoslight, we are committed to the continuous professional development of our team. For this reason, we have an annual training plan aimed at updating and enhancing skills related to sustainable development, as well as department-specific expertise.

We continue to grow, while our emissions are decreasing. As part of our commitment to sustainability, since 2022 we have reduced energy consumption at our facilities by 15% thanks to the installation of self-consumption solar panels, reaching 100 kW of installed capacity in 2025.
