About Rhino

Rhino is a floor wash light that stands out slightly from the wall, cleanly and directly projecting the light obliquely. By doing so, it breaks away from the two design dogmas of this type of luminaire: it relinquishes absolute recessed installation and avoids directing the beam to the exterior, availing itself of rebound surfaces. With this, it has the advantage of being a luminaire with outstanding light efficiency –among its alternatives – defining it from the aesthetic viewpoint.

Formally, Rhino is the result of a natural transition between a circular shape on the wall that conceals the active part of the luminaire (recessed equipment and dissipation), and the lens that crowns the optical unit, and determines the light beam outlet. This formal shape results in an organic design which, however, is the purest, most minimalist and simplest way of solving the union between the two basic geometries of this piece. Thus, its appearance is not gratuitous, but strictly functional, justified and logical. With a minimal profile, and perfectly integrated into the wall surface, Rhino stands out slightly by way of a visual aesthetic body, which notionally refers to pressure from inside the wall.
