Arkoslight makes available to architects, designers and lighting designers a wide selection of its luminaires in BIM (Building Information Modelling) on its website, to facilitate the work of creatives according to the market demands and better outcomes

Why BIM?

BIM (Building Information Modelling) is a process for creating and managing information on a construction project across the project lifecycle.
BIM integrates structured data to allow the creation of a digital model. This methodology improves the workflow, coordination in each phase of the project and collaborative work between the various stakeholders of a construction project.

The #ArkoslightBIM files are optimized to the maximum and preserve the highest quality of visualization for an excellent experience in the design process. They have all been carefully developed by our in-house lighting designers to offer the most efficient families in the BIM methodology. The 3D of our luminaires has been completely modeled with BIM software, allowing us to obtain light files while transmitting the essential information of the family. The files are configurable and contain: planimetry, 3D geometry, electrical, photometric, identity and color data of the products.

This modeling process means that our files retain all the variables and functions of the product. The interaction with the models is therefore intuitive and simple.

Each BIM file contains a complete product family that is perfectly structured.
So you don’t have to worry: every time you import the family, the content catalog will be deployed with the datasheets of each product version. Be sure to select the one you want and download the version you will be working with from the content table. This will allow you to integrate only the file you need in your project, the weight of the document will be reduced, and you will be able to work in a faster and easier way
