New Products – Light+Building 2016
Arkoslight presented its new products at the Light+Building fair for this major event in Frankfurt, Germany. In the setting of the impressive architecture of the stand designed by Francesc Rifé, visitors have found out all about the progress and updates in Arkoslight designs, through which the company is displaying its firm intention to keep developing a range of avant-garde products, where design and performance are combined in unique items seen as a reference in the sector.
Shot Light is a luminary conceived to be a small, discreet point of light in the ceiling that hides the illumination source from sight and aims to offer maximum visual comfort. In order to achieve this, it has an anti-glare screen and a specifically designed micro-reflector that generates a perfectly defined light beam.
In this way, Shot Light very distinctly concentrates the light on one point, in which it achieves high degrees of luminance, similar to more powerful downlights. This feature allows it to be applied, separately, for accent lighting in specific areas, or grouped together as general lighting in projects where the priority is hiding the light source.
Olympia is a family of recessed LED luminaries for general lighting functions. Its geometry represents an evolution in the downlight concept given its longitudinal light distribution, as opposed to the standard circular.
In addition to the new shape’s aesthetic value, Olympia also allows us to create more homogeneous light spreads in areas with various fixtures, as –given the shape of its light beam- it will offer fewer fluctuations in lighting levels than rounded downlights.
The possibility to combine parallel and perpendicular positions also allows us to create customised combinations on the ceiling for areas with any type of layout. Moreover, it is also ideal to be fitted in corridors.
Io is a LED spotlight miniaturised in a fixture that is so small that it fits on the palm of your hand. Designed for accent lighting applications, its small dimensions mean it can be fitted in display cabinets, shop windows and small places without generating an invasive presence on the scene.
Created to be placed individually on the surface, or on a track, it offers all the features of concentrated LED spotlights with a minimalist and hyper-reduced design.
Scope
Scope is a LED luminary for suspended and surface applications. Formally designed as a vertical cylinder, it stands out for the purity and simplicity of its lines. Its sunken LED light source, its firm reflector and its interior matt shade –in different colours- offer great visual comfort and an elegant decorative effect.
