Art, Red Dot Design Winner 2019

The Art luminaire, designed by Rubén Saldaña & Luis Latrás, has been granted the Red Dot Award 2019, which distinguishes it as one of the best luminaires of the year. Art is positioned as a benchmark in the lighting sector thanks to its innovative design, efficiency and lighting comfort and the possibilities of functional as well as artistic applications.

The Red Dot Design Award is an international product design and communication design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. Since 1955, designers and producers can apply for the prizes with the winners being presented in an annual ceremony. Winning products are presented in the Red Dot Design Museum on the premises of the historical Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex in Essen.
