Lark-111, Red Dot Award Winner 2014

Lark-111, designed by Arkoslight’s Head of Design, Rubén Saldaña, has been given the Red Dot Award 2014, which acknowledges it as one of the best luminaries of the year.

The Red Dot Design Award is an international product design and communication design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. Since 1955, designers and producers can apply for the prizes with the winners being presented in an annual ceremony. Winning products are presented in the Red Dot Design Museum on the premises of the historical Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex in Essen.

About Lark-111

LARK111 is the best retrofit LED lamp design for luminaires fitted with QR111. The LARK111 offers a quality alternative for switching to LED in projectors, recessed lamps, cardan lamps, etc.

LARK111 is the only lamp in the market with a height of only 49mm. The designers at Arkoslight have achieved this by using a smaller reflector, thus providing more space for the integration of a heat sink in the structure that surrounds the LED without increasing height.

This lamp is compatible with the vast majority of QR111 luminaires and its heat management enables the output of up to 1,440 lumens (over double that of any other lamp in the market). The new smaller reflector offers increased efficiency (92%), it improves the UGR and can be used with both, flood or spot angles.

Finally mention that Lark111 is the only lamp available with coloured casings, meaning they can be aesthetically matched to any luminaire.
